Following the success of a trip to China to take part in the World Choir Games, Northolt High’s documentary “The Choir” beat off tough competition to win a BAFTA earlier this week.
Northolt residents will recall how local pupils had struggled against the odds to win a place in the World Choir Games finals in Xiamen, China. The short series highlighted the trials and tribulations of the young stars as they did Northolt proud.
At this week’s Bafta awards, the documentary beat off competition from TV favourites such as The Apprentice, Dragon’s Den and Gordon Ramsey’s the F-word.
Well done to everyone at the school who made the doumentary such a success!
