Seizing a strategic opportunity in 1997, Ealing Council acquired Northala Fields and is in the process of transforming 18.5 hectares of largely unloved and underused space, adjacent to the busy A40, into a new and ambitious park that will be complete in winter 2007. The new park will provide the final piece in the creation of the Northolt and Greenford Countryside Park (NGCP).
